Originally from Illinois, Mark Forrest, owner and general contractor of Forrest Custom Builders, has been in the construction business since 1980. Mark and his wife Patti moved to Stone Lake in 1989 and have been property and business owners in the Sawyer and Washburn County areas since then. Mark and Patti currently reside on Stone Lake in a custom log-sided home Mark designed and built.

Forrest Custom Builders has constructed many homes in the Stone Lake and Hayward area, including Long Lake, Stone Lake, Sand Lake, Lac Courte Oreilles, Grindstone Lake and many other waterfronts as well as numerous country homes. While specializing in custom, luxury log homes, the creative minds at FCB also construct and remodel modern homes and living spaces.
